FAQ
What Fourth Wave Fest Means To Us
In My Own Words:
“I started Fourth Wave Fest with my co-producer and manager, Heather Bedenko, so I could experience something like Lilith Fair. I really wanted to create community with other women, particularly women musicians, and have a space where all women, and all people, could feel safe and celebrated. I wanted the voices of women to be heard and for women musicians to get more visibility in the Asbury Park music scene. While I still very much believe in that mission, I’m so grateful that Fourth Wave Fest has become bigger than that initial idea. 180 Turning Lives Around does so many incredible things for survivors and their families through their programs and services. I’m so glad that through FWF, Heather and I have been able to bring awareness to all of the good work that they do. And I’m so proud to know that through FWF, we have helped survivors take that first step and get help. Someone we care about made the call because they learned about 180 through our show. That makes all of this so real and even more meaningful to us.”
